IMPHAL, October 29: PYPC, Pungdongbam defeated BSU, Keirao by 3-1, today during a match of the ongoing Ngangkham Boboy Memorial 2nd Division Football League Tournament at ABA Ground, Kshetrigao organized by the Imphal East District Football Association.
Ng Mangalsana of PYPC scored the opening goal of the match in the 8th minute. However, Anath of BSU equalized the goal in the 41st minute.
Wathsan scored the second for PYPC in the 44th minute. The first half of the match ended with PYPC leading by 2-1.
In the second half, Wathsan scored another goal for the winning team in the 52nd minute.
Meanwhile, M Naosathang of BSU was shown the yellow card during the match.
In another match played between SWC, Khongman and LSIC, Lamlai. LSIC won by 2-1.
Benjit of SWC scored the opening goal in the 9th minute of the 16th match of the tourney.
Kh Kishan of LSIC equalized the goal in the 17th minute, ending the first half with 1-1 draw.
In the second half of the match, Kh Kishan scored another goal for the winning team in the 62nd minute of the match. There will be no match tomorrow.
