Sadar Hills Auto Assn visit orphans in Sadar Hills

KANGPOKPI, November 21: As part of its annual Picnic cum Advent Christmas celebration Sadar Hills Auto Owner`s Association today paid a visit to the four orphans within Sadar Hills, two at Kanglatongbi, one each at Sapormeina and Kangpokpi and donated one bag of rice each to the orphans apart from individual donation to the orphanage.

Sadar Hills Auto Owner`s Association comprising of 108 members congregate this morning at Thomas Ground, Kanggui along with their respective vehicle and later they were flagged off by its Association president Sehbem Kipgen after a prayer.

All the Association members with more than 100 Auto marched within Kangpokpi giving a message of Love, Unity and Peace among all community settled in the town and later they marched down towards Agape Children Home at Kangpokpi where they meet with the orphanage and have a short interaction as well as donated one bag of rice with some amount from individual donation from the members.

The Picnic and Advent Christmas celebration party then marched down toward Sapormeina and Kanglatongbi where they paid a visit to the Orphans and donate one bag each to the orphanage and individual donation.

The party later came up to Koubru Leikha river bed where they organized a big Picnic party where they sung a Christmas songs and conducted other recreational activities as well as conducted a condolence service to the departed members of the Association in the year.

They also organized a Christmas Carol from Gamgiphai to Taphou Kuki in the evening to spread a message of Love of the Lord Jesus Christ in the areas.

The Association President Sehbem Kipgen while speaking on the sideline of the celebration stressed the important of Love, Unity and Peace.

He said that the Sadar Hills Auto Owner`s Association organized a Picnic Party and Advent Christmas every year on 21 Nov.for recreation of the Auto driver`s/owner`s and spread a message of Love among the people.

Sadar Hills Auto Driver/owner comprise of diffirent community viz.Kuki, Naga, Nepali, Meetei and others but we work collectively for the welfare of the people said Sehbem Kipgen while adding that community diffierence should not be given a platform to subside the mutual love and understanding that brings Unity and Peace among us.

He further averred that in this(today`s) world of hatred it is vital on the part of everyone to keep in mind that before hatred came to existed Love ruled this beautiful world.

“We should encourage Love to ruled once again our world”, pointed out Sadar Hills Auto Owner`s Assn.President adding that with our capacity we are always ready to be in the frontline to encourage that Love which once ruled the world.

Visiting orphand and interacting with the orphanage is also a part of encouraging Love and show the orphanage that we are one family that shared the Love of Lord Jesus Christ together asserted Sehbem.

While expressing gratitude to all organizations and individual particularly our daily passengers who have render utmost cooperation to the Association in the celebration the Association president urges everyone to give Love and take Love.
