IMPHAL January 17: Two girl athletes who were also allegedly assaulted by Ng Dingko Singh were referred to Shija Hospitals for medical treatment in the evening of January 16. They were named as Puiyam Yaiphabi, 15, daughter of P Roberts and Chungkha Pamei, 17, daughter of Gengkui Pamei. Both developed deterioration in their conditions with high fever accompanied by constant shaking, headache and pain in the areas where they were beaten. Chungkha said she will return back to SAI and work harder to earn the respect of his coach and surpass the achievement of the Asian Games gold medalist. Another girl Soibam Aranbala was also hospitalised after being thrashed by Dingko.
