IMPHAL, Feb 8: The G Company of the 54 Bn BSF recovered a 9 mm pistol and lethod bomb from Heinoukhong and the same have been deposited with the concerned police station.
Police source said that the said pistol and bomb were recovered from Heinoukhong Lamkhai near the Inganglok stream in Heirok village around at 6 am today.
The arms were packed in a black plastic bag .
It is also learnt that the BSF on getting information that certain miscreants had left the arms there on the night of Friday cordoned and conducted necessary search operation there.
The 9 mm cobalt pistol along with four live round and the highly explosive lethod bomb were recovered during the said operations.
