JIRIBAM, Feb 23: SK Thadou, chairman of United Tribal Liberation Army (UTLA) who was critically injured in an ambushed by his fractional group on dated: 14th Jan, 2014, was warmly Well – Come by the villagers of Muktokhal on the 23rd Feb, 2014 for his coming back and recovered of his serious injuries.
Speaking to this correspondent, S.K Thadou, chairman of United Tribal Liberation Army(UTLA) said that it was due to love of his people and the mercy of the Almighty God that he has recovered from the serious bullets injuries.
Further he heartily thanked the 27th Assam Rifles and police commandos of Jiribam for rescuing him while he was battling with life and death.
He also thanked the Kuki Apex body, village chiefs, youth clubs, churches leaders for their prayers of his recovery. Moreover he whole heartily thanks to Minister of Home Affairs, Additional Deputy General of Police (ADGP), Assam for providing financial assistance and security.
