AMUCO seeks public help for office construction


IMPHAL, March 10: The AMUCO Office Building Construction Committee chairman KT Rahman who is also the advisor of the organisation has in a press conference made a general appeal to the people of Manipur to generously extend help and cooperation to the ongoing office building construction of AMUCO which is being constructed at Kwakeithel Akham Leikai, Imphal.

KT Rahman said that AMUCO has been working for the last 21 years for the territorial integrity of Manipur and also other humanitarian services outreaching the people of the far flung areas of the state so as to restore brotherhood among different communities without having its own office building. He further added that the ongoing office building of AMUCO has a community conference hall and also night shelter.

Disclosing a list of donors, the Construction Committee chairman said that Baleshwor from Yairipok has donated Rs 5000, Parasmani of Thangal Bazar Rs 10000, Ranbir of Chingmakha Rs 20000, Momon of Thambalkhong Rs 35000, Rantan Kumar of Khuirai Lamlong Rs 50000, Laishang, of Babupara Rs one Lac, RK Rameshor of Airport road Rs 80000, Deben of Khurai Rs 5000 etc.
