IMPHAL, April 8: The Sagolband Block Congress Committee organised on Wednesday a reception ceremony of MLA, RK Imo Singh who was among the five MSCP MLAs who joined the Indian National Congress.
Five MSCP MLAs namely RK Imo Singh (Sagolband AC), Karam Thamarjit Singh (Keirao AC), Paonam Brojen Singh (Heirok AC), Nemcha Kipgen (Kangpokpi AC) and Janghemlung Panmei (Tamenglong AC) had recently joined the INC.
Speaking at the function, deputy chief minister, Gaikhangam said that there is an indication of winning the election of the inner Lok Sabha seat and condemned BJP in the highest form for alleging the government.
He further said that if they have proof, they should show it, and also alleged that the BJP is such political party which usually criticized other political parties in their election campaign.
The Dy CM also appealed the public not to waste their voting right.
RK Imo lauded the organisers for such a function and added that his aim is to work cooperatively with the ex MLA of the Sagolband constituency to develop the constituency.
He further appealed to the public to vote for the Congress candidates in the 16th Lok Sabha election so that the pending development works could be continued in the state. He also appealed the public not to waste their voting rights.
