LAMKA, May 26: Mani Charenamei, independent candidate of the recently concluded Lok Sabha for the Outer Manipur Parliamentary Seat, has issued a press release accepting his lost in good faith.
In the statement, the former MP from the same seat, has expressed his utmost thanks to the sacrifices and bold backup shown to him by his supporters, be it in diverse circumstances.
Thanking his voters and also those voting against him, the statement said “May the loving God bless you in all your efforts, for no good intention or deed will ever go in vain.”
Charanamei told IFP, “I will, in my best capacity, work relentlessly for the people, which is enshrined in my manifesto to bring about unity to the hill people who speak diverse languages but are one.”
Charenamei also said “As we have given mandate in favour of INC candidate let us back him up to do genuine development works for the interest of the hills people, which is the true spirit of democracy.”
