CHURACHANDPUR, Sept 25: The state wide National Sanitation Campaign kicked off today in Churachandpur with the ADCC Chairman Langkhanpau Guite and DC PK. Jha.
After a short speech and highlight of the program, that will last till 23 October, a road show cum rally was taken out from the DC office till Tuibuang Traffic Point which was attended by the DC and Chairman ADCC.
Additional SP Balram Singh also came in place of the SP who is out of station.
A large number of police force also took part in today`™s rally that was also graced by DLO of Churachandpur district.
The Sanitation campaign was held throughout the State with the one at the capital Imphal led by the concerned minister, and the ones in the districts headed by their respective DCs.
It may also be mentioned that the action plan for National Sanitation Campaign which was launched under Swach Bharat Mission in the state of Manipur will culminate with a prize distribution and closing ceremony at Lamka on the October 23.
