IMPHAL, Oct 3: The body of a NSCN (K) cadre was found this evening around 4:30 with a bullet injury at Khongnem area in Senapati district.
Sources said the cadre identified as Daikho, 36, of Mao Pungdong was abducted last night from his home by suspected NSCN (IM) cadres.
In an unrelated incident, the city police Imphal found a man in a semiconscious state this morning around 8.30 near Usha Hall.
The man seemed to be a non-local and was soon evacuated to RIMS.
Sources said he was declared dead by doctors around 10 am.
