IMPHAL, Oct 13: The Chief Electoral Officer has informed electors of 38-Hiyanglam Assembly Constituency that the Election Commission of India has instructed that all electors who have been issued EPIC will produce the EPIC for their identification at the polling station before casting their votes.
According to a release of the officer, electors who fail to produce the EPIC must produce an alternative photo identity documents of any one of their passport, driving license, service identity card with photograph issued to employees by Central/State government PSU/Public Limited Companies, Passbooks with photograph issued by Bank/Post Office, PAN Card, Aadhar Card, Smart Card issued by RGI under NPR, MGNREGA Job Card, Health Insurance Smart Card issued under the scheme of Ministry of Labour, Pension Document with photograph and Authenticated Photo Voter Slip issued by the election machinery.
