Winger service to resume service at Tiddim line

IMPHAL, November 10: The ban on Tiddim line Winger service was lifted today following an agreement between JAC against the killing of H Thoiba Singh and the association of Winger service.

In a press meet held today at a house located at Ningthoukong Kha Khunou, the co-convener of JAC L Krishnachandra said that the Tiddim line winger service will continue from today with resolutions to contribute fund towards the victim family, to help in finding the culprit, and to pressurise the concerned authority to book the culprit.

Mention may be made that on September 30, Thoiba, 46, son of (L) H Jugeshwor of Ningthoukhong Kha Leikai knocked down dead by a speeding Winger. The culprit is still unknown.

Thoiba is survived by his wife and five daughters.
