IMPHAL, Nov 12: The Zeliangrong Youth Front of Tamenglong zone has petitioned the Chief Minister of Manipur to solve the pending issues of the contract basis teachers of 2006 batch.
A statement of the front has claimed that till date nothing beneficial has been done by the government for this group of teachers, who have been rendering service for many years.
It said through the memorandum, the ZYF has demanded that the government should give humanly treatment to the said teachers.
