MSF organises get-together for college election candidates

IMPHAL, December 14: The Manipuri Students`™ Federation today organised a get-together for the candidates of the student body who had contested election at college and university level.

The get-together was held at the Ramlal Paul Higher Secondary School, Keishampat and attended by MSF president Kh Serajuddin as president and MSF steering committee members L Lukhoi Power, Th Udoi Luwang and LC Romesh, AMUCO president Mani Khuman, AMUCO advisor KT Rahaman and COHR chairman Munindro Konsam as presidium members.

Speaking at the function, Mani Khuman said the MSF works for the welfare of the State`™s student community.

Manipur has man student organisations and although their names and working style are different, their motives are the same, he said.

In order to become the leading organisation, the members of the body should be strong and have good characters he said adding that the ideology and objective of the organisation should be able to attract the people.

Munindro Konsam said all civil organisations have their own sets of motives, perspectives and ideologies; however, it is very important to work together with other organisations on a particular issue.

Education is the main weapon of the students in their effort to bring the needed change to a society and so students should gain all the possible knowledge during their student life, he said.

Today`™s function was attended by school students, executive members of the student body, meira paibi and newly elected members of college and university student bodies.
