IMPHAL, December 7: Thangmeiband Kendra Development Organisation (TAKDO) has expressed its gratitude to the various civil bodies and people of Thangmeiband Assembly Constituency in a press statement for supporting its move to develop the Lamphel Sanakeithel Road, the stretch from Lamphel Power House to Fishery Junction, along with the local MLA Khumukcham Joykishan Singh if the government doesn`™t repair it by December 15 this year.
It added that they will start repairing the road, which hasn`™t been repaired in 10 years, the next day if the government does not do so on or before the date it has set.
In a separate press release, five civil bodies of the assembly constituency have expressed their support to the move of the local MLA and TAKDO pledging full cooperation. The five civil bodies are THYO, Kangjabi Leirak Youth Club, PHLYO, Rising Knowledge Club and ECHEL.
