IMPHAL, Dec 10: The Specialised Adoption Agency (SAA), Imphal East District has said that an abandoned child of four years has been entrusted to the agency by an order of the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), Imphal East District.
According to a release of the agency, the child has been identified as Baby Longjam Shajani alias Penu, 4, daughter of Longjam Chourjit Singh of Ningthem Pukhri Mamang.
It has since been informed that whoever wants to know about the whereabouts of the child and claim her may contact the Manager/Coordinator of SAA on the mobile phone: 9612518669, Chairperson, CWC, Imphal East: 9856739040 or Protection Officer, DCPU, Imphal East: 9774217730, it said.
