IMPHAL, Jan 7: Cadres of hills based UG groups reportedly entered into a shootout today around 5:30 pm along the hill range above Nungtek Village, Tamenglong district under None Police.
According to the police, the exact spot of the gunfight is around one kilometer north of the None Police Station and that nearby locals had heard the gun shots for about half an hour.
However, police said due to darkness moving towards the site had become dangerous and as such further details are awaited.
