MOREH, December 31: The Autonomous District Council Chandel Chairman, Lunkhosei Zou has inaugurated the waiting shed at Lamkhai, H. Mongjang village located about 7 km away from NH 39, Imphal-Moreh.
The waiting shed was constructed under the funding provided by BADP.
Lunkhosei Zou also inaugurated the water tank constructed under the funds provided by BRGF. The work shed which is situated next to the waiting shed was inaugurated by Moreh ADC, Robert Kshetrimayum and was constructed under IWMP.
The Moreh ADC also inaugurated the school building constructed by the Education department with funds provided by SSA. The village chief as well as the villagers also appealed the government to send adequate teachers for the school.
The District Council as well as the Moreh ADC has also visited the playground site which was constructed by BADP. However, due to lack of funds, construction of the play ground could not be finished.
The inauguration programme was also attended by HTC, Phaicham Vang members, Kuki Chief Association members. The members of the Phaicham Vang also presented gifts to H. Mongjang village.
