THOUBAL, February 23: A 15-year-old boy was killed instantly while another was seriously injured when the two-wheeler, Active Access, they were riding crashed into a parked Tata Di mini truck this afternoon at Thoubal Ningombam.
The deceased has been identified as Okram Premkumar alias Naoton, 15, son of Rajendro, of Thoubal Ningombam and the injured person has been identified as Ch Repananda, 15, son of Basanta of Athokpam Sanjenbung Leikai.
The exact place where the accident happened is near Evergreen Flowers School at Thoubal Ningombam at around 1:30 pm.
The two boys who where on two-wheeler after losing control crashed on the back side of the parked Tata Di mini truck.
They were first rushed to Thoubal District Hospital. Premkumar died while Repananda has been shifted to Shija hospitals for further treatment.
Meanwhile, Police have seized the Tata Di mini truck and the owner has been identified as Ningombam Sarat of Thoubal Pakhangkhong Leirak and also a case has been registered in regard to the incident.
