IMPHAL, Feb 4: The All Manipur Working Journalists`™ Union (AMWJU) has said that 2 new members of the Union has been elected unopposed for IJU`™s National Council`™s membership.
According to a release of AMWJU, Ratan Luwang and Meinam Surendro Singh have been elected after scrutiny. As the union is entitled only 2 seats in the National Council, as per the allotted membership ration, both Ratan Luwang and Meinam Surendro Singh were elected as IJU`™s National Council (NC) members as the Union`™s representatives, it said.
