IMPHAL, February 25: The Modern College Students`™ Union locked the gate of the Administrative block of the Modern College today as the government has remained silent even after the cease work strike launched on February 18 by the All Manipur Council Teachers Association continues to this day.
Speaking to the media, a student of the college said that they are worried that they wouldn`™t be able to complete their syllabus before the annual exam in May.
If the government was concern for the students, it would have brought an amicable solution with AMCTA and the college would have reopened again, he said, adding `if the government remains silent over the matter, the administrative block also will remain closed`.
The Modern College Students`™ Union has strongly appealed the government to bring an amicable solution at the earliest as the time for completing their syllabus is running out, the student said.
