IMPHAL, Feb 11: The Saikul Area Naga People`™s Organization (SANPO) has submitted a representation to inaugurate the newly upgraded Island SDO/BDO Office.
A release of the organization said that the construction works of Island SDO/BDO office including its infrastructures such Bank, Barrack, Quarters, Fencing, approach road etc have been completed during the early part of 2014.
However, till today no initiative had been made for its inauguration and functioning, it said.
As such people of the area have been longing for its inauguration and functioning at the earliest to minimize the grievances being faced by them, it added.
