IMPHAL, Feb 20: A truck of carrying BSF personnel today caught on fire injuring two personnel this evening around 6.30 at Waithou Tronglaobi, Thoubal district.
According to reports, a convoy of the 54 Bn BSF D and F company, was heading for Wangjing post having attened a Sainik Sanmelan held at Loktak tactical head quarter.
When the convoy reached Waithout Tronglaobi a mini truck amidst the convoy caught on fire without any warning injuring two personnel.
However, timely intervention of the Thoubal fire service personnel the douse the fire. The cause of fire is not known till the filing of this report.
