IMPHAL, March 23: The Manipur People`™s Party has stated that the President of the party`™s Singjamei branch, Khaidem Biramani Singh had passed away on March 22 due to an illness.
According to a release of the party, Khaidem Biramani had joined the party in 1972 and was an honest and loyal leader of the party. A 2 minute silence was observed at the office of the party at 1 pm with its President, N. Sobhakiran as the chief guest to pray for the soul for its heavenly abode. The party also half hoisted the party flag in condolence and also shared the grief of the bereaved family members, it said.
