BISHNUPUR, April 11: A public meeting was organized by Wal United Students`™ & Youths Federation, Ningthoukhong at Ningthoukhong Public Park, Bishnupur district today to discuss the ever increasing crime against women and drug menace.
Kh Joy, advisor of Kung-Fu & Kick Boxing School, Ningthoukhong; Situ Th Noren, founder of Kung-Fu & Kick Boxing India; Kh Nilabir, social worker and M Rajen, Councillor of Ningthoukhong Municipal Council graced the occasion as presidium members.
Attending as resource persons, SI Laxmi, OC in-charge of Women Police Bishnupur; Ima Tampak Leima, president of Meira Paibi Apunba Lup (MPAL) Bishnupur District; RK Sarat, ex-Councillor of Ningthoukhong Municipal Council and Ibochouba Konthoujam, Director of DECACUS spoke on relevant topics during the meeting which was also attended by representatives of women`™s organizations, clubs and organizations based in Ningthoukhong and Bishnupur.
