IMPHAL, Apr 26: The United Committee Manipur (UCM), has appointed 25 members of its general assembly for the term 2015-2018 during its 5th general assembly (regular session) convened this morning at its Lamphel office.
A statement issued by UCM said that the general assembly was presided by president Y Nabachandra while consultative committee members RK Ranendrajit and Ibotombi Khuman attended as special guest.
Besides appointing new office bearers the meeting also resolved to make amendment of its constitution for which drafting committee has been formed.
Elangbam Johnson has been appointed as president of the Committee, Sunil Karam as vice president, Yengkhom Dhiren as secretary general, Sanjit Soraisam as secretary organisation, Rjakumar Mangisana as secretary finance, Leishemba Lamaba as secretary information and public relation etc.
