LAMKA, April 12: The Bharatya Janata Party(BJP) president Th Chaoba today officially launched the party`™s election campaign in Churachandpur, where many party men are alleging irregularities in selection of candidates, as was reported in IFP last week.
The president called a press meet at Synod Hall located at IB road flanked by the general secretary and the district president J.Haokip and ex-minister Hangkhanlian where he said that he was confident of winning all the 18 ADCC seats they are contesting in the coming election.
“We request all the SoO or Non SoO groups to facilitate free and fair election” he appealed. He said after the election the party will take a decision base on the actual facts on the ground on what policy to pursue on the SoO status.
He also accused the Congress led ADCC of complete failure.
