A one day “Multi Disciplinary Health Camp” was jointly organized by Lions’ Club of Imphal, Lions’ Club of Imphal (Itaroi), Lions’ Club of Bishnupur and Lions’ Club of Kumbi in association with Setupur Youth Development and Welfare Association at Setupur, Kumbi on 1st May 2015.
About 340 residents of the locality and its adjoining areas were examined in the discipline of general medicine, pediatrics, eye (ophthalmology) and BP & diabetes detection. Specialist doctors examined the patients assisted by PG students of RIMS and interns of JNIMS.
Free medicines were also distributed to the patients examined in the camp. Pamphlets on general awareness on hygiene were also distributed.
In the sidelines of the medical camp, District Governor of Lions’ District 322D, Lion MJF H. Manikumar Singh distributed presents and eatables to the elders of the Setupur area.
