IMPHAL, May 17: The Kangleipak Communist Party-Military Affairs (Liberation) has said the recent tussle between Manipur Legislative Assembly speaker and a sub-inspector of Manipur police was a clear indication of lawlessness in the state.
A statement issued by Lanchen Meitei, secretary Information and Publicity of the outfit, questioned the public involvement amidst the `Goondaism of the VIP and the Police` was worth it.
The incident was a show of strength and ego between two sides who have been a threat to the social security of the people.
Moreover, the incident also exposed the lack of discipline amongst the security forces of Manipur and boastful attitude of the VIPs.
In the meantime, it also strongly condemned the incident perpetrated by SoO signatory groups which have been for the past few months disturbing the communal harmony of the state.
It alleged that the spurt of incident was design by the GOI adding that it warned the revolutionary groups to more careful.
At the same time, it also appealed the people to be aware of the sinister design of the hidden forces.
