IMPHAL, Jun 11: Patriotic Writers`™ Forum (PAWF), Manipur observed Arambam Samarendra Ningshing Thouram yesterday at Manipur Press Club.
President of Cultural Forum, Manipur Professor Naorem Khagendra Singh of president PAWF, Manipur Ragu Leishangthem and retired principal of Nambol L Sanoi College Naorem Ghandar attended the observance function as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
During the function, a book entitled `Khungangi Chithi`™ written by Ragu Leishangthem in Meitei Mayek script and a video cassette named `June 18 of Arambam Meme`™ were released.
A discussion session on the topic `Arambam Samarendra Dramada Nupigi Mashak`™ and `Nationalist Ama Oina Arambam Somerendro`™ was also conducted.
S Bhanumati, Thangjam Ibpishak, Yumlembam Ibomcha, RK Bhubonsana, Birendrajit Naorem, Dr M Priyobarta, Kartic Maiba, Dr Lanchenba Meitei, Saratchandra Thiyam and Dr K Shantibala read out poems in remembrance of late Arambam Samarendra.
