CHANDEL, Jun 9: The Chandel District Christian Forum (CDCF) and Chandel District NGO Forum have condemned the attack on Indian Army that killed 18 soldiers of 6th Dogra Regiment near Paraolon on June 4.
According to a statement signed by CDCF secretary Rev Kl Sunny, the fatal attack and reactions of the security forces after the incident has brought fears to all people particularly the people of the surrounding villages.
Terming the act as `unfortunate`™ and `detrimental to peaceful environment`™ in the district, it condemned the attack in the highest term.
It further appealed to the Indian Army not to harm the innocent civilians and villagers during the ongoing operation.
It further appealed to all peace loving people and churches to pray for bereaved families of the slain and injured soldiers and also for restoration of peace and normalcy in the region.
