IMPHAL, June 6: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) as part of its ongoing efforts for offering learner friendly services, has launched an Online Admission System (OAS).
A press release of the Open University has stated that prospective learners will submit their application forms online and receive instant confirmation for successful submission of their application form through email as well as through SMS. There is provision for Payment of Programme Fee online through Credit/Debit cards by using Online Payment gateway.
The facility will be available for the ongoing July admission session for all the 148 academic programmes at Master, Bachelor, PG Diploma, Diploma and Certificate level currently on offer.
The last date of form submission for Bachelor Preparatory Programme/Certificate/Advanced Certificate/PG Certificate Programmes is June 15 without late fee and June 30 with a late fee if Rs. 300/-. Similarly, the last date for Master/Bachelor/PG Diploma/Diploma level programmes is August 17 without late fee and August 31 with a late fee of Rs. 300/-,it said.
The online admission facility can be accessed on the website of the University at www.ignou.ac.in or by visiting https://onlineadmission.ignou.ac.in/.
