IMPHAL, June 11: The State government is in the dark about the ground reality of the surgical operation conducted in the aftermath of the Chandel ambush and as such it is hard to comment on the issue, Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh told media persons today.
Speaking on the sidelines of the inauguration of the 1st Manipur National Horti Expo-2015 at the MFDC today, the Chief Minister said like the State media has been banned from entering the operation zone, the State authorities have been totally black-out from what is actually happening during the operation and the conditions of the villagers in the surrounding areas of the ambush site.
All information that we have now are media reports from New Delhi, he said and added that since the Indian army had conducted operations inside Myanmar as was reported, no State force are involved in the operation.
