Imphal, June 25: The Tangkhul Shanao Long and Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong condemns the brutal rape and murder or KA Shanti W/o (L) KA Hormi of Ramrei village. A statement of the association said the barbaric manner in which she was killed and the sadistic marks that the dead body wore speaks volumes of the extreme criminal mindset of the perpetrators.
The Tangkhul Shanao Long (Tangkhul Womens`™ League) states that such acts of violence and killing against women is uncalled for and expressed its displeasure. The apex bodies convey its sincere sympathies to the family of KA Shanti and pray that the Almighty God comfort you in this time of sorrow. The Organizations also appeals strongly to the concerned authorities to bring the perpetrators to justice at the earliest, it said.
