IMPHAL, July 22: A group of parents and guardians of students appearing in the All India Pre-Medical Test, AIPMT which is schedule on July 25 has appealed to all concern not to call any bandh, strike, blockade or other agitations on the day.
One of the guardians Akham Kunjakeshwor Khuman acting as their spokesperson said during a brief press conference at the Manipur Press Club that the test is conducted on an all India basis by the Central Board of School Education according to a directive of the Supreme Court.
CBSE affiliated schools in the State will be the examination centres for the test, he said.
He appealed to the supporters of the ongoing movement demanding Inner Line Permit System in the State against calling any bandh or strike on the day and obstructing candidates on their way to the exam centres.
There are more than 6500 students appearing the test in various centres across the State, he continued.
He also said the parents and guardian also support the movement and observed a two minute silence in memory of late Sapam Robinhood.
