IMPHAL, Aug 7: The All India Forward Bloc, Manipur State Committee has demanded the Home Minister Gaikhangam to resign on moral ground for not taking up action against those police personnel who physically assaulted a school during a protest demonstration at the Old Secretariat.
A statement of the party also demanded to award stringent punishment to those police personnel and disclosure of the peace accord agreement signed between NSCN (IM) and NDA Government.
Everyone wants peace, however, the people of Manipur will not compromise if territorial, historical and communal Integration of the State is disturbed due to the agreement, it said.
