IMPHAL, Aug 12: Major General VS Sreenivas, VSM** IG AR (South) and All Ranks of Assam Rifles extended their greetings to the people of the State on the occasion of `Patriots Day – 2015`™ which has been observed to mark the supreme sacrifice made by Bir Tikendrajit and Thangal General on August 13.
IGAR (South) urged the people of the State to come together bearing the same indomitable and unconquerable spirit and stand united to fight against the social evils and insurgency to bring about peace, prosperity and tranquility in the days to come.
All ranks of IGAR (South) also wished that the people of Manipur live in harmony and together with the arrival of Patriots Day.
