IMPHAL, Aug 13: Commemorating the Patriots`™ Day which is being observed in remembrance of the 1891 Anglo-Manipur War during which scores of people sacrificed their lives to protect the independence of the State, MP Dr Th Meinya; Thangso Baite; Md Abdul Salam; ex-Minister Dr Nara; Upa Adhyaksha Bishnupur O Jugeshwar and ex-Member of Zilla Parishad Imphal West Ph Priyokumar and several other officials paid floral tributes at the portrait of Bir Tikendrajit at Bir Tikendrajit Manipur Bhawan, New Delhi today.
