IMPHAL, Sept 2: MLA Ranjit regretted that his `No Naga exists in Manipur` statement inside the State Assembly was an emotional tongue slip.
Making the clarification following much backlash from all quarters, the Sugunu MLA said he regretted his statement. He said what he meant to say was `No Nagaland Naga exists in Manipur.`
The MLA told media persons that the various communities residing in Manipur have co-inhabited peacefully since time immemorial. He said he had also corrected his statement after the session in the State Assembly.
