IMPHAL Sept 14: The Regional Institute of Medical Science grandly observed its 44th Foundation Day at the Jubilee Hall in the same campus.
Prof S Rita Devi, director RIMS who was the chief guest of the function hoisted the flag at the Administrative Unit of RIMS and presented the annual report later at the hall.
The director also released the annual magazine of RIMSSU `Remedy`™ on the occasion.
Another magazine namely `Journal of Medical Society`™ was released by the president of the occasion Prof M Amuba Singh, Medical Superintendent, RIMS.
Dr RK Bharati Devi and Dr G Nilamani Sharma also attended the function as the guests of honour.
Several categories of awards were also distributed on the occasion along with the Best Maintained Ward Award of RIMS Hospital which was received by the Female Orthopaedics Ward.
Five students received PG awards, while 17 students received MBBS Examination awards and 14 others received BSC Nursing awards.
12 other students also received the BDS awards.
