KANGPOKPI October 23: The Kuki Inpi Manipur deeply condoled the demise of Dr. Rochunga Pudiate, popularly known as “Dr. Ro” today.
KIM condolence message said that the unexpected demise of Dr. Ro is not only a big loss to the family but also to Christians around the globe.
Khaimang Chongloi, General Secretary, KIM in his sympathy note said that Dr. Rochunga Pudaite rose from poverty in a remote village of former headhunters and the first among the Chin-Kuki-Mizo ethnic community to become the founder and leader of the global Christian ministry “Bibles For The World”.
He continued that Dr. Ro was an inspiration to millions, and his life story and ministry work demonstrate how much one Christian can do when directed by the Lord.
“Dr. Ro was concerned for both the spiritual and physical needs of thousands of poor people in India and his ministry has touched the lives of tens, if not hundreds, of millions of people across the globe”, added Khaimang Chongloi.
He further said that Dr. Ro efforts have introduces millions of people around the world to the message of the Bible and they understand what it means to be true followers of Christ.
Dr. Ro’s vast contribution towards the Christian community during his lifetime would be treasured, said Chongloi.
KIM also said that that Dr. Ro went home to be with his Lord and Savior and left behind his ministry and us whom he so loved after he helped transform millions upon millions of lives through the power of the Gospel while paying homage to the departed “God`s tribesman” Dr. Ro KIM and share the grief and sorrow of the bereaved family.
