IMPHAL, Nov 22: Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh flagged off the first conducted tour bus service from Imphal to Sendra from the Sanjenthong Bridge this morning.
The conducted tour is being organised by the Manipur Tourism Department as part of the ongoing Sangai Festival 2015.The flag off ceremony was attended by Parliamentary Secretary (Tourism & YAS) M Prithviraj Singh; Secretary Tourism Nidhi Mani Tripathy; Director Tourism Shyamlal Poonia; former Minister Bijoy Koijam and several Tourism Department officials.
Tourists including one Member of Parliament of Myanmar and tour operators from Myanmar and other countries took part in the tour.
