CoPoTR urges Chandel’s CDPO to implement schemes sincerely

CHANDEL, Nov 29: Committee on Protection of Tribal Rights (CoPoTR) Chandel urges the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) Chandel to distribute and implement all the schemes which have been released by the government for the district.

In a press statement, the Committee on Protection of Tribal Rights (CoPoTR) stated that there is no evidence of implementation and releasing of funds for several schemes including Skill Development Training for Adolescence girls, Breast Feeding Day, Nutrition Week, Monitoring Evaluation, Equipment & Furniture, Hot Cook meal, etc. in the current year so far.

The committee will not tolerate an act of indulged in corruption by misusing the sanctioned fund without implementing the schemes, warned the Committee.

While urging to distribute and implement all the schemes which has been released by the government for the District, the committee also appealed the CDPO to provide the informations sought under RTI Act, 2005 by Tongsin Beton, Advisor of the Committee on 9th November 2015 at the earliest.
