IMPHAL, November 20: The JD (U) Manipur Unit has expressed happiness following the swearing in of Nitishkumar as the new Bihar Chief Minister.
Speaking to media persons, president JD (U) Manipur Moirangthem TOmbi said the recently formed Grand Alliance had swept the Bihar Assembly election.
He said the Grand Alliance of RJD, Congress and JD (U) who believe in secularism had defeated the BJP in the Bihar election.
Citing that the Bihar election was the second instance when the BJP has been defeated in State Assembly elections first in Delhi since Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister he said the BJP will not be able to open its account in the State during the bye-election.
