IMPHAL, Nov 18: One of the six persons injured when they were mowed down by a speeding Santro car while playing dice game at Thoubal Kiyam Siphai Babu Bazar on November 12, succumbed to injuries today.
The scary road mishap also claimed lives of six persons.
The deceased has been identified as Sinam Oken Singh, 48 son of Late Ibobi Singh of Thoubal Kiyam Siphai Mamang Leikai.
Oken was rushed to Raj Medicity at North AOC for treatment. He died today around 7.20 am.
The last rite of the deceased was performed at his residence after conducting post mortem examination at JNIMS morgue.
Mention may be made that wife of Oken identified as Akashini Devi, 40 also lost her life in the unfortunate incident. Their son S Boboy Singh, 25 who also suffered injuries in the mishap is undergoing treatment.
