IMPHAL, Nov 2: A bomb exploded near the residential gate of parliamentary secretary K Meghachandra at Yairipok Keisham Leikai under Yairipok Police Station in Thoubal district around 9:15 pm today.
The man suspected to have lobbed the bomb at the MLA`™s residence was also found dead and a motor-cycle burning by locals after the explosion.
The body of the man is also found to be beyond recognition.
It is also suspected that the bomb must have exploded in his hand when the man who came in the burning motorcycle tried to lobbed it.
