Mountaineering and trekking showroom inaugurated

IMPHAL, November 18: Nameirakpam Chingkheinganba who scaled the Mount Everest in 2013 as a 16 something year old and who holds the record for the youngest Indian to have scaled it today inaugurated a mountaineering and trekking apparel showroom “Wildcrafts” at the Wangkhei cross road, near Andro bus parking.

Chingkheinganba lauded the opening of such a showroom in the State.

He said that proper wear is necessary for everyone in all the seasons to be healthy.

Head of sales and marketing for Wildcrafts North East Region Spandan Barthakur during the grand opening said that Wildcraft was first launched in the early 90s in India with few products and having its manufacturing unit in Bangalore. Adding up with some innovative products for trekking and mountaineering, Wildcraft has opened four more units in Bangalore and one in Himachal Pradesh.

He said that wildcraft now has 70 outlets across the country.

R and Sons enterprises also announced an offer of upto 10% sale of the wildcrafts range of bags and backpacks in the showroom during the Sangai Festival 2015.

The opening of Wildcrafts showroom Ex Director of Planning Department Kangujam Mangi and Diganta V Gayam from Guwahati were present as president and Guest of Honour and Retd Addl SP CID Ksh Jarma Singh was also present as special invitee of the opening function.
