IMPHAL, Nov 26: The Forest Department of Manipur today officially declared Phailong (Bhalok) Village of Tamenglong district as “Amur Falcon Village” during an awareness campaign to conserve Amur Flacon held at the Village.
The declaration was made by Additional Chief Conservator of Forest, K Agam, in the presence of Kh Ibomcha, IFS, Chief Conservator of Forest (TP-1), Huri Gonmei, DFO Tamenglong, Dr Chambo Gonmei, Chief Medical Officer Tamenglong and Harmony Wildlife Warden-Nehemiah Panmei.
