Police personnel to depose in Robinhood case

IMPHAL, Nov 16: The Justice Mutum Binoy Kumar Singh Commission of Inquiry constituted in connection with the killing Sapam Robinhood, is set to continue with its proceedings for deposition of police personnel before the Commission at the State Guest House.

According to reliable sources, altogether 13 police personnel including the officer in-charge of the Porompat Police who registered an FIR in connection with the case, have submitted affidavits and files related to the incident before the commission.

The six police personnel who are currently under suspension following the death of Robinhood are among the 13 police personnel due to be appear before the Commission, said the sources.

Even as the date for the deposition of the prosecution witnesses has not been scheduled, it has been informed that the Commission is likely to fix the date by November 18.

It may be recalled that earlier 13 witnesses including JAC president, JCILPS co-covenor and school fellows of Robinhood had already deposed before the Commission.
