IMPHAL, Nov 18: Proscribed outfit UNLF: Manipur has claimed that yesterday’s attack on a team of the 3 Assam Rifles in Yangnomphai (Laiyang Khunou) village in Chandel district killing one AR personnel and injuring two more was conducted by a team of the outfit’s MPA.
A statement of the outfit said the operation was conducted under the code name “Operation Waaba”.
